The Alongsider Course is a seven-session video course designed for churches and small groups to inspire and equip Christians for disciple-making.

An alongsider is someone who seeks to make disciples through the relationships in which God has placed them - family, workplace, local church, community.

Read more about what an alongsider is (and isn't).

While The Alongsider Course is available to everyone, it is designed primarily for churches and small groups.

The Alongsider Course is made by Navigators UK. Over the last 70 years, Navigators UK have been getting alongside people, helping them know Jesus personally and do the same with someone else. Through these ordinary people, God has grown generations of disciple makers.

We have made all seven session videos and the Resource Hub free to access via the mobile and desktop apps. During the preview phase of the course, the course handbook will be available to download via the website. Once the course has officially launched, a printed handbook will be available to order.

You can access The Alongsider Course materials via the mobile and desktop apps.

The session videos can be downloaded within The Alongsider Course app so that you can use them offline.

Once the course has officially launched, a printed handbook will be available to order.

We use a variety of different translations of the Bible within The Alongsider Course, including New International Version UK (NIVUK), English Standard Version (ESV), New Living Translation (NLT) and The Message (MSG).

The leader guide is available via the app. There is also a resource pack that is free to download from the website that will help you prepare to lead the course at your church.
